(And that, was how human society started: Lonely and futile cycles.)

Simizolam 05:50
(Beams of sunlight laid on the opposite side of the street. Humid air foretold an upcoming rainfall, while the thick clouds sneaked behind the slits of buildings. Through the thinnest parts of the clouds, the morning sun struggled to deliver the last bit of glow onto this city. A city of fatigue. A city plagued with numbness. The queue of patients seemed not to have moved. In a mere minute, the city grew darker. The rain had yet to fall.) Lining up By the colors on your arms No one'd ask How this task will be done A distant voice called upon our names And we took one step ahead We're on a journey to space This is how we start our day For the debts we left unpaid The numb will get us Numb will get us Numb will get us Let go and lay yourself I'm falling apart I'm now ready I'll morph into something else (I’ll start morphing and I) Will recompose We set up our goals They were so close to my face We learnt to talk We learnt to walk In your pace Toward our fate

In the Light 05:11
(He woke up, and she was there waiting. Her countenance brought a strange feeling that calms him from the turmoil he had just been through. All the panic, fear and anxiety melted away in the face of her gleaming characteristics, like they never existed. The bleak color in the room became warmer, in which her soothing smile of security and He longed for something he can’t grasp. A strong and rampant impulse. Preliminary, mystique, urging him to combine with her in rusty and reckless postures.) Black and white Day and night It’s me in the middle In and out Scream and shout Everything is lost Carbon dioxide Floating dreams and rising tide Compose the lyrics of my life When machines collide Rationale slides It will all subside In soundless melody In wordless poetry Frames of time Chains of thoughts Bend and collapse It's a restless world tumbling Nowhere for us to settle With all that you know All that you don't All that you will Go ahead lie on the ground Feel the warmth that surrounds With a million lights resting aside If I close my eyes (close your eyes) A hand, a name, a man on far reaching strand A sign, a rhyme, behind intangible minds In the light (Close your eyes) In the light (Fly up high) In the light (By your side) All shapes are alike So let the presence be what it is (In the light) And let the vacancy be black be white be day and night (In the light) Be everything that was lost Then in the light, in the light, I'll meet you

(He saw the old man standing alone in the openness by the end of the stairway. He couldn't see the old man's face but somehow found his silhouette familiar. The arch of the tangerine sky was permeated with the dark brown beams of dusk. Winds arrived along with the warmth, slipped through their hairs and rendered the old man's beard and his trench coat swinging gently. Unlike the first time they met at the entrance of the hospital, the ambivalent countenance has vanished from the old man. So did the flare of insanity. The old man now stared at his with fixation of clearness, making him thought the old man was merely appreciating the scenery behind him. For another instant, he thought the old man was gazing at his innermost consciousness, stripped of any disguise. In this bizarre standstill, the sounds arose. ) Turn around while you’re young Before you can’t even tell what you’ve become Stuck in the desolation of life Something’s missing Nothing’s easy It feels like you’ve lost your key You just don’t know where to be and how to break free Oh, perhaps in your dream Your dream… Now even dream seems to be… Have you ever wondered why you’re here? Have you ever wondered why you ought to stay? Do you ever, ever regret? Do you know enough about your life? Do you have a reason? Trying to stay alive? Can you ever, ever answer why? Why? Will you turn your head when tide ascends? You float you choke but it won't end. Will you keep on keep on believing? All the things encountered All the things you thought would hurt These are signs for you to strive, to rise The unnamed, unsaid, unexpressed Unveil the false faith What they’ve said will all fade in a blast What you’re afraid of Are the wrecks of your own past You are always free

(“Next,” They’ve always been silent. “Next,” Or perhaps they cried out before, “Next,” But I didn’t hear them. There’s only me: “Next.” I tried to recollect what the announcements sounded like, but only to find those voices mingled with my own. After all, in most days, I simply followed the horde. “Next,” I imagined my voice being decisive and crisp. But it was dry and lifeless, as if there were a knife pointing at my throat. I turned my head, cleared my throat, shrugged. “Next.” I think their silence made me.) Through the pale alley We send them relieves I stroll my trolley Carry down my belief: “We’re evenly free” 1964… What are we living for? 1964… Have you seen the tower That they built with power? Have you thought about the world Outside the walls? And just what you’re made for? 1964… What are you waiting for? 1964… What are you waiting for? What are you waiting for? What are you waiting for? 1964… What are you living for? What are you living for? What are you living for? Is it in my dream? Have you seen those scenes? There are trees and hills I can breathe those tender chills What would I see If I looked from above? High as the sky? Step back It’s just a wall Stay low I won't fall Tell me the way Show me the path To the free land There’s no answer There’s no one here Have dared Step back It’s just a wall Stay low I won't fall

("When did this ear disease even start?" He searched for his earliest memories, but in vain. The city's gloomy weather, the reflections on curtain walls and the grey corridors in the hospital had besieged his remembrance, convincing him that those are everything in his world. While the blurry trails of the drug spread out in his head, he cut loose of his reliance on his body. Strangely, it was after he stopped grasping for those senses that he rejoined the awareness of his own consciousness. Presently, the lively visions of the dreams unroll before him like successive cinema scenes.) Do you remember The stream we used to trek When the heats of summer Still clung to our backs In those times When our shoes were oversized We leaped nonetheless Before the afternoon dies We bounced over stones before knowing the flow We grew more cautious once we grew old We dwelled in the basin Of this never ending creek Old leaves bypassed us Ran into a young ocean’s dream They are the daughters Of mountains and valleys We are but visitors Who refused to leave Now I’ve seen it through We are all the same There is no name There is no game The storm will come To set us free And my love will save me It’s now the time For us to leave

(I wanted to hug her, but there I stood, letting my body dissolve into the darkness. I didn’t have the guts to lift my legs. I was rendered feeble by the choice between turning back and leaving. The humming in my ears pushed the pain over my reasons. This city has lost all the meaning to me.)

(So, we took steps into the unknown, crossing that wall of indifference. There were hopes, or so we thought, that can bring us to places, places we’ve never imagined. Behind the clouds, before the sunrise. “Beyond the world, beneath the representation.” And now here we are. There is no end. Perhaps, there will never be. And that, was how our society started.)

about

The world has never been short of turmoil.

This concept album was born in the attempt to capture the intangible turbulence and to convey certain beliefs.

As the floods of information proliferate, meanings and interpretations collide, compress and crash onto one another. Still, in this implosive process, some core pillars lasted.

It all starts and ends with self-consciousness. The answers to questions may collapse, but one can apprehend the essence of existence through questioning.
